Women’s swimming and diving set for dual meet
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's swimming and diving team is set to host second dual meet of the season against New Mexico State at the University Rec Center Pool on Friday at 6 p.m.

The women are off to a 1-1 start in dual meets after taking down BYU 238-134 and falling to Texas 192-99. In the home opener, Nina Vadovicova set two program records in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke against the Cougars. The freshman had the most individual points earned (7) against the Longhorns placing second in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.79) and third in the 100-breaststroke (1:03.52).
The women's team took home the gold in all four relays against BYU. Tania Quaglieri, Jeanne Dahmen, Vadovicova and Serena Gould placed first in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:40.51. In the 400 yard freestyle, Gould, Mikayla Popham, Lexi Drap and Olivia Rhodes swam a time of 3:23.47. Quaglieri Vadovicova, Dahmen and Rhaniska Gibbs earned the victory in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:40.62. To finish off the relay sweep against the Cougars, Gould, Popham, Rhodes and Gibbs swam a 1:32.93 in the 200 freestyle.
Graduate student, Quaglieri has had a great start to the season having earned three points for the Frogs in her last time out placing third in the 100 backstroke (56.41).
LAST TIME VS. NEW MEXICO STATE
The last matchup between the Frogs and Aggies was in 2011 where the Frogs won the meet with a score of 138-105.
