
TCU Signs 11 to Class of 2028

Frogs claim six western and five jumping seat signees
FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs claimed 11 talented newcomers to join the equestrian program next year after signing National Letters of Intent in the early signing period, TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield announced Friday.
"Coach Dukes and Coach Fiorentino put together an incredibly strong signing class that we are thrilled to welcome to TCU," Schoolfield said. "This group of high achiever's shine in the arena and in the classroom. Without a doubt this versatile and accomplished class, along with our current athletes, will continue to propel our team upward."
The signing class includes six riders on the Western Seat side with five set to compete for the Jumping Seat team. These future Frogs hail from nine different states from across the country.

Adell finds her was to TCU from Bloomfield Hills, Mo. Some of her recent highlights include her fourth-place finish at the Washington International Horse Show Jumper Championships. She was named champion of a High Children's Jumper Class and had top placings in the hunters and jumpers at the Winter Equestrian Festival. In 2022, she won the Large Jr Hunters 3'6" stake and was the highest scoring Junior Rider at the National Horse Shows. Adell is very excited to continue her Jumping Seat career at TCU.

"Estelle is an amazing young lady from Independence, Minn. This year, Estelle was a 2x All American Quarter Horse Congress Champion, Reserve Congress Champion and 2x Congress High Point award winner. At the 2023 AQHYA World Show, she took home a L2 Championship & a L3 Bronze Championship. Estelle had multiple top-five placings at the 2023 NSBA World Show where she earned a L1 Youth High Point award. She also had success at the APHA world show, winning 3 APHA World Championships and a Reserve World Championship. Estelle brings a lot of experience and enthusiasm and we are pleased to welcome her to TCU next Fall!"

"Adele is a very talented and accomplished rider from Weatherford, Texas. She's been showing reining horses since she was 8 years old. Adele has had multiple championships and she earned a Top 5 Youth Reining finish at the acclaimed The Run for A Million in Las Vegas, APHA Reserve World Youth Reining title, and Two Top 10 AQHA Youth World Show finishes in the Level 2 and Level 3 Reining. She also took home championships during the National Reining Breeders Cup for Limited Non-Pro, Novice Horse Non-Pro Level 1, Youth 14-18, and High Point in the Intermediate Non-Pro. Over the summer Adele was crowned the High Point Limited Non-Pro champion at the NRHA Derby and most recently won the Non-Pro, Intermediate Non-Pro, and Limited Non-Pro classes during the NRHA Graham Stampede. We are excited to welcome Adele to the team!"
MAGGIE DUMRAUF – JUMPING SEAT – DEL MAR, CALIF.
Dumrauf travels to Fort Worth from Del Mar, Calif. where she has excelled in her riding career. She was named Champion of the 3'3 Hunter Seat at the Medal Final-West and overall Champion in the GSDHJA Open Equitation Challenge in 2021. Recently, she placed fifth overall at the CPHA Jr Finals, eleventh place overall in the USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Finals- West and had a top 15 finish at the Gladstone Cup- West. Dumrauf has also been awarded the 2023 Michael Nuyis Foundation Grant winner and received the 2023 IEA Sportsmanship award. She cannot wait to become a Horned Frog!

"Sydney Feager is a very talented young lady from Wright City, Mo. She has been showing horses for 14 years and has had a very successful career inside and out of the arena. Some of Sydney's most recent accomplishments are:
JORDAN GIBBS – JUMPING SEAT – COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.
Gibbs joins the TCU equestrian team with an ample amount of experience. Most recently she moved up to the Grand Prix classes where she immediately placed seventh in the Washington International Horse Show Equitation Final. She finished in the top 15 at the ASPCA Maclay Finals and the top three in the 15yo age group equitation at the Capital Challenge Horse Show. Gibbs placed third at the WEC Premier Cup at the World Equestrian Center. Although she has many honors in the arena, what she does outside of the arena may be more impressive. She is a Junior Athlete and Ambassador for the Great Escapes Mustang Collaborative where she assists with fundraising and educating for the mustangs and former wild horses with the goal of getting them to thrive through the journey of domestication. Gibbs is the founder of the Sock Out Cold Feet program which is a campaign that collects and distributes socks to people in need. She is ecstatic to join the Frog Family.

Stary joins the Frog Fam from Oswego, Ill. She has many accoldes in the Jumping Seat including a top 20 finish at the ASPCA Maclay Finals, qualifying and competing at the USEF Medal Finals and top placings in the equitation and jumpers in Ocala, Illinois and the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. In 2022, she qualified and competed in the USEF Medal Finals and the ASPCA Maclay Finals and placed in the top 10 at the Zone 5 ASPCA Maclay Regionals. Outside of the arena, Gibbs serves on the Big Buddies' Little Biddies' organization which provides for children in need, is a member of the Habitat for Humanity Club and Key Club. She cannot wait to call TCU home.

Young travels to Fort Worth from Spring Hill, Kan. where she created a name for herself in the horse world. Her most recent accolades include being named Champion at the Devon Horse Show in the Large Junior Hunters, finished in the Top 25 at the Gladstone Finals – East, was Reserve Champion in the age group equitation at the Capital Challenge Horse Show and placed third at the Penn National Horse Show in the age group equitation. The Kansas native has top ribbons in the large junior hunters at the Penn National, Washington International and National Horse Show and earned the highest score of WCHR Week at the Winter Equestrian Festival. Young qualified and competed at the USEF Medal Finals, ASPCA Maclay Finals and USHJA Jumping Seat Finals this year and finished top 10 in the country in the Large Junio Hunters. Gabby looks forward to joining the TCU family!
