Horned Frogs Finish Sixth at Nationals

TCU finishes off their inaugural season in Tempe.
TEMPE, Ariz. – While playing on the biggest stage, TCU showed they can compete in just the first year of competition.
Finishing off a strong season that captured the attention of so many, TCU finished their season with a sixth place finish at Nationals, on Saturday afternoon in Tempe, Ariz.
As the race was delayed, the Horned Frogs stayed the course to fight against the most competitive field in the country.
The Horned Frogs were led by Maria Coral, who finished inside the top 15 with a 12th-place finish. Coral posted a time of 1:05:10.90, just a few seconds ahead of teammate Sara Gimena who came in a 15th place. Gimena finished with a time of 1:05:24.50, being one of two Frogs to finish inside the top 20.
Amanda Moro aided TCU's efforts down the stretch, coming in 26th on the leaderboard. The Brazilian posted a time of 1:06:07.60 after a strong run to round out the top 30.
