"I'm proud of our guys for fighting back. Our team showed a ton of character and mental toughness and fortitude and fight. I asked them at halftime to play as hard as they could in the second half and not worry about the score, to just go out and play with an incredible effort and they did that and got themselves back in the game. We were right there and had a chance."

"Number one, he played incredibly hard. He got banged up a couple times and kept coming back in. He played with a ton of toughness. He just played like he was capable of playing and with a ton of confidence. Josh (Hoover) got on the same page with him and started to trust him."

We did what we've done at times this year is commit a penalty or give up a sack or did something where we can't get out of our own way. In the second half, guys started to make plays. We settled in. It gave us an opportunity to get back in the game. I thought we played well enough to win.
