
TCU Sweeps Big 12 Rider of the Month Accolades

Frogs sweep the honors for the second month in a row
FORT WORTH – The TCU equestrian team earned all four of the Big 12's Rider of the Month awards for the second month in a row, the league office announced Wednesday. TCU's honorees included Mattie Dukes in Horsemanship, Shea Graham in Reining, Lilly Goldstein in Flat and Ashleigh Scully in Fences.
Dukes received October Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the Month accolades after tallying a perfect 4-0 record in the event. The graduate student has three MOPs this season and earned two in the month of October against Fresno State and No. 5 Georgia. This is the Texas natives fifth overall Conference monthly award and second this season.
Graham was undefeated (4-0) in Reining and earned two MOPs in the event during the month of October. The senior set a season high against No. 5 OSU on Oct. 5 where she took down her opponent 73.5-72.5
Scully was 3-1 in Fences in October and earned two wins over ranked opponents. The senior set a season high in the event with an 88 over Fresno State's Elle Martin on Cru. She has one MOP in Fences this season earning the honor against No. 10 UT Martin where she scored an 85.
Goldstein is undefeated in her collegiate career after winning each of the four Flat matchups she competed in. The freshman has three ranked wins and has a high score of 91 that came against Fresno State.
TCU's four honorees, along with the rest of the Horned Frogs, will be back in action next Friday, Nov. 10 when they host No. 8 Baylor. The meet is set to begin at 10 a.m. at KSM Bear Creek Farms.
