
Four Frogs Earn Big 12 Weekly Awards

Sadlowski, Rhodes, Vadovicova and Kwong honored by conference
FORT WORTH – After a strong performance at the FSU Classic, four TCU swimming and diving athletes have received Big 12 weekly awards, earning men and women swimmers of the week, women's diver of the week and women's newcomer of the week honors.
Piotr Sadlowski earned his second Men's Swimmer of the Week honor after his first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 47.96 and a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:54.84, this weekend at Florida State.
Olivia Rhodes is this week's Women's Big 12 Swimmer after her win in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.57 and a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.54.
With her first and second place finishes in the 1M and 3M dives this weekend, Anna Kwong is the Big 12 Diver of the Week. Her 3M score of 297.35 is an NCAA Zone "B" cut. Kwong is no stranger to Big 12 honors, this being her fifth award.
Nina Vadovicova earned the Newcomer of the Week award after her four top 5 finishes at the FSU Classic. She helped TCU finish second in both the 200 medley and 400 medley relays.
Up Next
The Frogs will take on BYU at home on Friday, Oct. 13 for their first dual meet of the season.
