FORT WORTH – TCU women's basketball is set to take the stage in the Big 12 Basketball Tipoff on Tuesday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Joining head coach Mark Campbell at the annual preseason media day event are graduate students Jaden Owens and Sedona Prince, and junior Madison Conner.
TCU is participating in the morning session alongside Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas, Oklahoma, UCF and West Virginia.
Campbell will be interviewed live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ from 10:01-10:06 a.m. Owens will follow the first-year TCU head coach from 10:08-10:13 a.m. with an interview of her own. The on-set appearances are the apex of the morning. Campbell and all three players will also take part in a roundtable discussion with six-time WNBA All-Star Sheryl Swoops and ESPN reporter Kris Budden, appear live on Sirius XM and be made available for one-on-one interviews with local and national media in attendance. Owens, Prince and Conner are three of eight newcomers on a revamped Horned Frogs roster. Prince was selected to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team on Oct. 3 while TCU was picked to finish ninth in the Preseason Big 12 Coaches Poll.
TCU commences the 2023-24 campaign at 4 p.m. on Nov. 6 vs. Oral Roberts. The Horned Frogs play 12 of their first 14 games within the friendly confines of Schollmaier Arena. TCU's conference-opener pits the Horned Frogs against BYU at 4 p.m. on Dec. 30.
