Team Notes
*TCU is 11-2 in Big 12 regular-season games under Head Coach Sonny Dykes.
*Since 2019, Dykes ranks No. 1 in the state of Texas for winning percentage (.737, 42-15) by an active FBS head coach with at least one season completed.
*Taking just 22 games, Dykes is the fastest TCU head football coach to 17 wins since Dutch Meyer (21 games, 1934-35). Meyer led the Horned Frogs to national championships in 1935 and 1938.
*The last two 400-yard passing games at TCU are by quarterbacks in their first career starts: Josh Hoover (439) today against BYU and Chandler Morris (461) versus Baylor in 2021.
*TCU's defense has allowed just nine touchdowns over the last six games.
*TCU led 31-8 at halftime and is 14-1 under Dykes when ahead at the break.

Offense
*Redshirt freshman quarterback Josh Hoover made his first collegiate start and completed 37-of-58 passes for 439 yards and four touchdowns.
*The 439 yards passing were the most by a TCU quarterback in his first career start since Chandler Morris threw for 461 in a 30-28 win over Baylor in 2021.
*Hoover's four touchdown passes were the most by a Horned Frog in his first start since Casey Pachall's four at Baylor in 2011.
*Hoover's four touchdown passes were the most since Max Duggan had four against Tarleton last season. Versus FBS opponents, it was the first time since Duggan's four at Oklahoma in 2021.
*The 37 completions and 58 attempts by Hoover were the most in a game by a TCU quarterback since Pachall was 40-of-58 passing against West Virginia in 2013.
*JP Richardson had his first career 100-yard game with six receptions for 104 yards. The six catches were one shy of a career-high seven for Oklahoma State versus Texas last season.
*Richardson's 42-yard touchdown catch was his second as a Horned Frog and eighth of his collegiate career.
*Richardson has at least one reception in his last 22 games, the longest streak on the team.
*Savion Williams recorded a career-best six receptions for 77 yards, including a touchdown for the second straight game. His 7-yard grab with 40 seconds left in the first half gave TCU a 31-8 lead. His three touchdown catches this season trail only Jared Wiley's four.
*Wiley's 7-yard touchdown catch was his eighth as a Horned Frog, tops among active players at TCU. He has 11 career scoring grabs.
*Jaylon Robinson had a team-best and season-high seven catches for 68 yards.
*Warren Thompson's 14-yard touchdown reception was his second as a Horned Frog and seventh of his career.
Defense
*Millard Bradford's first interception of the season, returned 35 yards for a touchdown for the game's first points on the opening series, was the third of his career. It was also TCU's first Pick 6 since Dee Winters against Michigan in last year's College Football Playoff Semifinal win at the Fiesta Bowl.
*Bradford made his first start of the season.
*Shad Banks Jr. had a team-best seven tackles.
*A sack by Jamoi Hodge gave him 2.5 on the season and 8.0 in his career, the most among current Horned Frogs.
*Hodge also had his first career fumble recovery and two quarterback hurries, giving him a team-best eight on the season.
*Namdi Obiazor had his second sack of the season as part of six stops. He added two quarterback hurries.
*Avery Helm recorded his first career sack and forced fumble.
Special Teams
*Griffin Kell had field goals of 40, 35 and 37 yards. He is donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism for every made kick. With his 10 field goals, he's at $200 this season.
