Chris Berzina fires a 66 in the final round

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – TCU had its best round of the tournament on Thursday as it concluded play at the Frederica Cup, held at Frederica Golf Club on St. Simons Island, Ga.

TCU shot 6-under 354 to finish 9-over 1089. Facing a field that included five top 25 teams, the Horned Frogs finished in eighth place.

TCU was led by senior Gustav Frimodt, who carded his second-straight round of 1-under 71 and finished at even-par 216 and a tie for 34^th place.

Brent Hamm had his best round of the tournament with a score of 2-under 70. He finished tied for 39^th place with Jacob Skov Olesen with a score of 2-over 218.

Aymeric Laussot shot 1-over 73 on the day and finished in 44^th place.

Chris Berzina shot a career-best 6-under 66 on Tuesday. The senior played a bogey-free round with four birdies and one eagle, on the par 4, No. 6 hole. He shot 7-over 223 for the tournament and finished in 45^th place.

The Horned Frogs will next be in action Sept. 23-24 at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at the Championship Golf Course in Albuquerque, N.M.
