TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jeremiah Donati provides an update on the latest topics for the Horned Frogs
Dear Horned Frogs Fans:
1-0! Thank you to all those who made the trip to Colorado for our season opening 38-13 football win over the Buffaloes. We had nearly 7,000 TCU fans in attendance, and it made quite an impression on everyone in Boulder as well as those watching on ESPN. It was also noticed and appreciated by Head Coach Sonny Dykes. What a great statement to Coach Dykes, his staff and our student-athletes on the passionate fan base we have for our football program.
We look to continue the momentum on the field and in the stands with Saturday's 7:00 p.m. home opener against Tarleton. See you tomorrow night!

GAME DAY CHANGES
As a reminder, we have several gameday changes to share when making your way to Amon G. Carter Stadium.
If you have been to a women's soccer or volleyball game already, you likely noticed our concession stands are now cashless. This will include bar areas in Amon G. Carter Stadium. We accept every major credit card, Visa gift cards and all forms of non-contact payment which includes Apple and Google Pay. We made this change based on best practices and in an effort to speed up concession lines for our fans.
Also, for home football games, donor season parking lots will be available five hours before kickoff with stadium gates opening 90 minutes before game time. Arrive early for our special $3.00 happy hour discounts that include 16-ounce beer, Pepsi in a souvenir cup, hot dog, peanuts, popcorn and nachos. This pricing will be in effect until 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
Frog Alley will open three hours before game time. Make sure to also be present two hours before kickoff when our football team arrives for its Frog Walk!

FULL HOUSE
It was not just football in Colorado where our fan base showed its support for the Horned Frogs. We had a record crowd of 3,648 at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium on Sunday night for our women's soccer game against No. 2 Duke. Head Coach Eric Bell and his program very much appreciate the support for our back-to-back Big 12 Conference Champions!

WIN NO. 1
Last Friday was a milestone evening for two of our leaders. In a matter of hours, Jason Williams and Sonny Dykes earned their first victories as TCU head coaches. Volleyball gave Jason his first win with a 3-1 victory over Coastal Carolina in Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena. Later that night in Boulder, or rather the next morning if you were watching the game in Fort Worth or somewhere else in the Central or Eastern time zone, it was the first win for Coach Dykes on the TCU sideline.

WELCOME COMMISSIONER YORMARK
It was an honor to recently host Big 12 Conference Commissioner Brett Yormark on his first visit to TCU. We were also the first stop on his tour of all current and future conference members. Based on comments received from my counterparts across the league on his subsequent visits to their campuses, we made quite an impression on Commissioner Yormark! He is such a phenomenal fit for our conference in the current landscape of collegiate athletics. Before coming on board in this role, he already had a connection to the Horned Frogs as his stepson is a TCU graduate.

HOMECOMING SURPRISE
I am very excited, and I know you will be too, about a surprise coming your way as part of our Homecoming and TCU's Sesquicentennial celebration. I cannot say much right now, but will provide a hint that you will have an opportunity to further enhance your TCU wardrobe.
COLLEGE COLORS DAY AND GO PURPLE FRIDAY
It is always a great day to wear purple and especially today with College Colors Day and the beginning of our annual Go Purple Fridays.
As you wear your purple and make a social media post showing your pride in TCU, use #CollegeColorsDay. Click HERE for more information and how to win prizes for simply wearing TCU.
Go Purple Friday has been a longtime popular staple for us. All the deals and discounts around town are HERE.
IMPORTANT TICKET OFFICE NOTE
The men's basketball season ticket upgrade process will begin Monday, September 12. As you know, there is unprecedented excitement around our program this season with many national media outlets having us in the Preseason Top 20, including some in the Top 10.
TCU-SMU ON THE HARDWOOD
Dickies Arena is a great partner of ours. It was great to see the incredible exposure for Fort Worth's world-class venue when we hosted the opening two rounds of this past year's NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
Through our partnership, our annual nonconference game at Dickies Arena will be Saturday, December 10, when we host SMU. The tip-time is still TBA. We have had wins over Texas A&M and Utah the past two seasons in Dickies Arena. Our last men's basketball meeting with the Mustangs was a 67-59 win in Dallas in 2018.
Please note this neutral-site game is not part of our season ticket package. More information for season ticket holders and TCU students will be announced at a later date.

CARTER BOYS
If you have not set your calendar for 6:00 p.m. every Thursday, please make sure to do so for your weekly inside look into TCU football with Carter Boys on ESPN+. This program feels very similar to HBO's award-winning "Hard Knocks" you may be familiar with. A special thank you to Head Coach Sonny Dykes for providing this exclusive all-access look inside the program and to Director of Football Creative Media Jason Andrews for his outstanding work in putting the show together. Enjoy!

$20 FOR INSIDE THE 20
We have over 500 student-athletes in our athletics program, and you can be proud of your investment in them. Football's Jordy Sandy is right at the top. With his 9-year-old cousin having autism back home in Australia, Jordy wanted to do something in her honor while also giving back to the Fort Worth community. For each of his punts inside the 20-yard line this season, Jordy is donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism. I cannot commend Jordy enough for his selflessness. If you would like to contribute as well in support of Jordy, click HERE.

KEEPING HER HOME
After a standout season with our beach volleyball program, we have welcomed Megan Murat as a new Frog Club Development Associate. Megan is a native of Encinitas, California. She received an AVCA Top Flight Award this past season as her 34-7 record was best on our team that led the nation in wins and reached as high as No. 2 in the national rankings. From her recent time as a student-athlete, Megan will bring a unique perspective to our development efforts as she now serves you as a representative of the Frog Club.
HORNED FROG CLASSIC
Our 44th-annual Horned Frog Classic Golf Tournament will be held Monday, October 17. Tee times will be at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Country Club. To register and for sponsorship opportunities, please call the Frog Club Office at 817.257.7700 or click HERE. This is always an outstanding event and the proceeds make a major impact on all of our student-athletes. To see more upcoming events this fall, please click HERE.
DID YOU KNOW?
While the TCU and Tarleton State University campuses are just 77 miles apart, this will be our first-ever meeting in football. Tarleton is a member of the WAC, one of our former conference homes, and this will be its first game against a Power 5 opponent. The Texans are 1-0 all-time against FBS competition, beating New Mexico State 43-17 in 2021. It is safe to say there will be a lot of purple in the stands Saturday night!
I'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU
