
TCU Season Ends In Regional Championship Game

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M scored seven times in the ninth to rally for a 15-9 win over TCU in the NCAA College Station Regional Championship game. Twice the Horned Frogs rallied from late inning deficits, but fell short in the final inning. Brayden Taylor and Tommy Sacco homered for TCU.
The Rundown
TCU took advantage of a trio of Texas A&M errors to open up a three run lead after four innings of play.
A two spot in the sixth for the Aggies started them on the comeback trail. They took their first lead of the game with five runs in the seventh, highlighted by a three run home run from Dylan Rock.
The Horned Frogs responded with a four spot to tie the game at seven. Tommy Sacco singled home Porter Brown followed by a three run blast off the bat of Brayden Taylor.
Texas A&M restored its lead in the eighth on a two out single after two batters had drawn walks. Again the Frogs had a response in the form of a two-out, two-run home run from Sacco for a 9-8 lead.
In the ninth, the Aggies sent 11 men to the plate and struck for seven runs to cap off the comeback win.
Austin Krob was outstanding in the no-decision. He allowed two runs on three hits, walked three and fanned eight. River Ridings (2-3) took the loss after allowing three runs on two hits in 1 2/3 innings.

58 – Elijah Nunez's seventh inning walk was his 58th of the season, setting a school single-season record.
