Silins, Ekdahl and Hubbard will all represent TCU
ATLANTA – The TCU men's swimming & diving team looks to make its mark in its first NCAA Championships appearance in eight seasons.
Janis Silins, David Ekdahl and Alec Hubbard will represent the Horned Frogs this week in Atlanta. Silins will compete in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, Ekdahl will compete on 1-meter and 3-meter and Hubbard has qualified on platform.

ESPN3 will provide digital broadcast coverage for preliminary and finals sessions Wednesday through Saturday. Additionally, ESPNU will air a two-hour show at 6 p.m. Eastern time, Tuesday, April 5.
Meet Notes
In the pool, Silins is making his first appearance at the NCAA Championships in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. He qualified with his personal-best times of 52.11 and 1:54.05 that he set at the Art Adamson Invitational.
Silins is currently the school-record holder in both the 100 (52.11) and 200 breaststroke (1:54.05).
On the boards, Ekdahl and Hubbard have both made their mark on the program already as freshmen.
Ekdahl placed sixth on 1-meter at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships with a score of 706.80. With his true qualification on 1-meter, Ekdahl will also compete on 3-meter after he finished ninth overall with a score of 725.80.
He currently owns both school records on 1-meter (388.50) and 3-meter (418.80). This season, he was a three-time Big 12 Diver of the Week (Oct. 6, Nov. 3, Feb. 2) and earned Newcomer of the Week (Oct. 6) as well.
Hubbard qualified on platform behind an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships with a score of 640.55. He has had a stellar season on platform as he currently holds the school record with a score of 377.03.
