TCU Men Finish Third at NIC

Frogs back in action at the Men's NCAA Championships
ELKHART, Ind. – Behind strong team performances, the TCU swimming & diving teams concluded the National Invitational Championships with Top 10 finishes on each side.
The men's team earned third with 661 points, while the women's team finished seventh with 408.5 points.
Geremia Freri concluded his stellar weekend with a fourth-place finish in the 1650 freestyle. The freshman swam a time of 15:26.61.
In the 200 breaststroke, Hugh McPherson finished fifth overall with a time of 1:58.12. The senior entered the A final after finishing fifth in the prelims with a time of 1:58.78.
Two Frogs shined in the 100 freestyle finals. Noah Cumby swam a time of 43.91 to finish sixth and Raphael Paiva Da Lima's time of 44.11 was good for seventh.
Luke DiMiceli placed sixth overall in the 100 IM with a time of 49.60. In the 200 backstroke, Kade Knoch finished eighth overall with a time of 1:46.56.
Marlene Hirschberg finished 10th overall in the 100 IM A final with a time of 57.25.
The men's team finished off the NIC with a fourth-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay. The team of Paiva, Milan Fabian, DiMiceli and Cumby swam a 2:54.58.
On the women's side, the Frogs placed eighth overall in the 400 freestyle relay. The squad of Olivia Rhodes, Serena Gould, Hirschberg and Megan Morris clocked a time of 3:21.74.
