Laussot Leads Frogs at Southern Highlands

TCU begins the second round at 11:50 a.m. on Monday
LAS VEGAS – Aymeric Laussot tied a season-best, firing a 4-under 68 and is tied for 11th place as the first round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate began on Sunday.
Laussot's second nine featured six birdies, including four-straight to end the round, for a 6-under 30.
TCU's top finisher at its last tournament, Jan Schneider, is tied for 29th after shooting 2-under 70.
Gustav Frimodt and Justin Gums are tied for 35th place at 1-under 71. Frimodt had an eagle on the par 5 No. 13 hole. Competing as an individual, Brandon Massey also shot 1-under 71.
In the 15-team tournament which includes seven teams ranked in the top 25, TCU is tied for fifth with No. 9 Georgia and New Mexico at 8-under 280. No. 1 Oklahoma leads at 20-under 268.
The second round begins at 11:50 a.m. CT. The Horned Frogs will be paired with Georgia and Georgia Tech.
