LA QUINTA, CALIF. – TCU completed the first round of The Prestige on Monday at the Greg Norman Course at The Club at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif.
Filippo Celli birdied three of his final seven holes to shoot 3-over 74. He is tied for 32nd place with Gustav Frimodt.
Aymeric Laussot shot 4-over 75 to tie for 54th place. Jan Schneider and Thomas Allkins tied for 65th place with scores of 5-over 76.
The 24-team tournament features six top 25 teams. TCU is tied for 14th place after shooting 15-over 299.
The Horned Frogs begin the second round at 1:55 p.m. CT on Tuesday.
