16 Horned Frogs Earn Academic All-Big 12 Honors

TCU places 10 on the first team

IRVING, Texas -- Sixteen TCU football players have received Academic All-Big 12 recognition.

Running back Emari Demercado, a First-Team Academic All-Big 12 selection for the third time, has already earned bachelor's and master's degrees from TCU. Second-team recipients are highlighted by quarterback and Heisman Trophy runner-up Max Duggan, who received his TCU degree in marketing last weekend. It's the third straight year for Duggan to be Academic All-Big 12.
