FORT WORTH – TCU is moving the start time of its match on Saturday vs. No. 10 Baylor to 2 p.m. as announced by head coach Jason Williams and the Big 12 Conference.
The match was previously scheduled for 6 p.m. TCU and Baylor agreed to an earlier first serve to avoid overlap with football.
TCU is expecting a record-setting crowd inside Schollmaier Arena on Saturday. The Horned Frogs set a volleyball attendance record when Baylor last paid a visit to Fort Worth on Nov. 13, 2021. An announced 4,012 spectators packed the purple seats and bore witness to a five-set thriller that ultimately went in favor of the Bears.
The Horned Frogs can notch their first victory over an AVCA top-25 opponent in six years with a victory over Baylor. TCU can also guarantee itself a .500 record both overall and in Big 12 play for the first time since 2015 - the year of the program's second-ever NCAA Tournament appearance and best Big 12 finish (9-7) - with a win.
Saturday's match marks fans penultimate chance to take in TCU volleyball in Schollmaier Arena in 2022. TCU's home finale is set for 2 p.m. on Nov. 19 vs. Kansas State.
Single-game general admission tickets are still available for Saturday's contest. Fans can reserve their seat in one of three ways: online on the TCU Tickets page on GoFrogs.com, in person at the Parrish Family Athletics Ticket Office inside Schollmaier Arena or over the phone by calling 817-257-3764.
