Two Records Fall in College Station

Day One of the Art Adamson Invitational
COLLEGE STATION, TX – Two swim records were broken on Wednesday at the Art Adamson Invitational at the Rec Center Natatorium.
Raphael Paiva Da Lima swam the fastest time in school history in the men's 50-yard freestyle with a time of 19.72. That time earned him fourth place in the finals. Moments later, the relay team of Rylee Moore, Claire Chahbandour, Jeanne Dahmen and Serena Gould beat the TCU school record in the women's 400 medley relay with a time of 3:39.13.
In addition, the women's 200 freestyle relay of Olivia Rhodes, Gould, Emma Hultquist, and Chahbandour earned the fifth best time in school history at 1:31.79. In the 500 freestyle, Geremia Freri finished in fifth place with a time of 4:22.20. On the women's side, Jordan Edwards swam a personal best, clocking in at 4:52.15.
In the 200 IM, Kornel Kohalmi and Elliott Jones both finished with top 10 races in program history swimming the eighth and tenth best times respectively.
Up Next: The Frogs swimming team will be back in action on Thursday, Nov. 17 for day two at the Art Adamson Invitational in College Station, Texas.
