Audrey Nalls Claims Third Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week Accolade of 2022

Is the first three-time recipient of the award in 2022 and in program history
IRVING, Texas – If Audrey Nalls has not already delivered one of the greatest offensive seasons in TCU's Big 12 era, she took a significant step toward earning the distinction on Tuesday.
Nalls, a 6-2 outside hitter, was crowned Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week by conference officials for the third time this fall.
A native of Waxahachie, Texas, Nalls received the recognition for the week of Nov. 7-13. Nalls tallied 22 kills against a .364 hitting percentage to pair with nine digs and four blocks in TCU's four-set win over No. 10 Baylor on Saturday. She led all players in points (25.5), kills and hitting percentage.
Nalls is the first three-time recipient of the award in 2022 and in TCU volleyball history. Nalls also became the first player in TCU's 11 years of Big 12 membership to receive multiple sets of weekly all-conference accolades in the same season. She was first tabbed Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 19-25 before repeating two weeks later during the Oct. 3-9 window.
Nalls' 22-kill effort on Saturday signified her eighth match with 20-or-more kills this fall and 10th of her career. Seven of Nalls 20-plus kill performances have come against Big 12 opposition. TCU is 7-1 when Nalls hits the threshold.
She has now registered ten 20-plus kill performances in her career, which is tied for fifth in program history and are tied for the most among all players in TCU's Big 12 era.
Nalls is averaging 20.5 kills per contest in Big 12 play. Since Sept. 9, Nalls has averaged 17.7 kills per set.
She continues to lead her Big 12 peers in total kills 224 – 45 more than any other player – in conference action. She also tops the Big 12 statistical leaderboard in kills per set (4.57), total points (243.5) and points per set (4.97).
Her 349 total kills rank 91st nationally.
Nalls has led TCU in kills in 14 of its last 16 outings.
TCU claimed consecutive sets of Big 12 Offensive Player of the week accolades with Tuesday's announcement. Callie Williams received the honor for Oct. 31-Nov. 6 after dishing out 60 assists in the Horned Frogs' 3-1 win at Texas Tech on Nov. 5.
Nalls and TCU (13-10, 8-5 Big 12) have three matches remaining in the 2022 regular season, beginning with a trip to Morgantown, West Virginia on Wednesday to face the Mountaineers (7-19, 0-13 Big 12). First serve is slated for 5 p.m. CT inside WVU Coliseum.
