TCU Equestrian Adds Nine Standouts to 2023-2024 Roster

Recruiting class spans seven states
FORT WORTH – TCU fortified its future on Wednesday, as director of equestrian Haley Schoolfield announced the addition of nine newcomers to the program's 2023-24 roster during the initial signing date.
The recruiting class spans seven states. Six members of the class specialize in jumping seat while the remaining three compete in western.
"Coach Dukes and Coach Fiorentino put together a world class group of 2023 signees," Schoolfield said. "These incredible women will make lasting impressions on TCU both athletically and academically. We are delighted to welcome these exceptional athletes to TCU in August."

Lilly Goldstein | Jumping Seat | Argyle, TX
TCU did not have to venture far to add to its already deep jumping seat contingent. Goldstein makes the 35-mile stroll south to Fort Worth on the heels of a decorated 2022 season.
She qualified for and competed in all major equitation finals. In October, Goldstein was named Grand Champion and Best Child Rider and received the High Score award at the Capital Challenge Horse Show in the 3'3" Jr. Hunters. Goldstein also received top ribbons in the 3' 3" at the Capital Challenge Horse Show, Penn National Horse Show and Washington International Horse Show. Her prowess extended to the northeastern corner of the United States, as Goldstein posted a fourth-place finish in the ASPCA Maclay class at the Devon Horse Show – the oldest and largest multi-breed horse show in the United States – in May.
Last year, Goldstein again qualified for and competed in all major equitation finals, earning top placings USHJA International Derbies and finishing 10th at the ASPCA Maclay Regionals.

Katalina Considine-Rickard | Jumping Seat | Sherman Oaks, CA
Considine-Rickard is among the most touted junior hunters on the west coast and nationally.
She boasts a top-10 overall ranking in the Large Jr. Hunters Division. Considine-Rickard bolstered her ranking with a third-place showing at the USEF West Coast Jr. Hunter Finals in 2022.
Considine-Rickard enjoyed a spectacular showing as a high school junior. She was awarded trip of the show and the high score (98) at the World Champion Hunter Rider week at the Desert International Horse Park in March of 2021. That same year, Considine-Rickard was crowned champion and reserve champion during the West Coast Jr. Hunter Finals. She also secured third-place finishes at the WCHR Summer Spectacular class and WCHR Junior Challenge at the Capital Challenge Horse Show. Considine-Rickard concluded the 2021 season as the USEF Champion in the Large Jr. Hunters and the USEF Grand Champion Jr. Hunter.
She first announced herself as a bonafide Division I prospect in 2020. Considine-Rickard was named champion in the 14/U CPHA Foundation and SFHJA Finals and garnered reserve champion recognition in the PCHA Finals.

Franki Guidi | Jumping Seat | Hingham, MA
Guidi's jumping seat credentials and dedication in school and in civic engagement pair perfectly with the program culture TCU has established.
Her 2022 campaign was highlighted by a top-20 finish at the USEF Medal Finals and top placings in equitation classes at the Winter Equestrian Festival. She also won the 16-year-old equitation class at the Penn National Horse Show. Guidi scored 85 in the Phase III of the USET Talent Search Final.
In 2021, Guidi was crowned champion in the 15-year-old Capital Challenge Horse Show and competed to a reserve championship in the North American Jr Equitation Flat Championships at the Capital Challenge Horse Show.
Guidi is also a standout in the classroom, as she has been a high honor roll student throughout high school and maintained a 4.35 weighted grade point average throughout the 2021-2022 academic year.
She is active in community service, having volunteered regularly with the Hingham Youth Hockey SNAP Program for youth with disabilities.

Peyton Rathbun | Jumping Seat | Austin, TX
Rathbun brings a laundry list of accolades north from Austin to Fort Worth.
This year, she has qualified for and competed at all the major equitation finals, including the Capital Challenge Horse Show and the Low Junior Jumper Championships. She finished fifth at the Region 9 ASPCA Maclay Regional and placed highly in equitation classes and junior jumper classes throughout WEF and GLEF.
The 2020 and 2021 seasons year Rathbun again earn top placings in equitation classes at the Capital Challenge Horse Show. In 2021, she received top placement at the USHJA National Derbies. qualified for and competed at the USEF Medal Finals and notched a victory in a USHJA National Derby. Rathbun's 2020 campaign featured a TEC Championship.
Rathbun is also a dedicated student. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average throughout high school and is a member of National Honor Society.

Ella Kraut | Jumping Seat | Princeton, NJ
TCU added a championship pedigree to its program with the addition of Kraut. In 2022, she was the winner of the High Jr. Jumper Classic at the Hampton Classic Horse Show and received the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Style of Riding Award at the Hampton Classic Horse Show. Kraut also won the $10,000 Fairfield Welcome Stake. Her senior year also featured a fifth-place finish in the $30,000 Old Salem Farm Grand Prix and top-12 showing in the 1.45m Show Jumping Hall of Fame Class at the Devon Horse Show.
Kraut qualified for and competed at all major equitation finals in 2020 and 2021. Last year, she claimed eighth place at the Zone 2 ASPCA Maclay Regionals and won a USEF Medal at the Lake Placid Horse Show. As a sophomore, Kraut was named Reserve Champion at the Zone 2 ASPCA Maclay Regionals.

Hanna Dolan | Jumping Seat | Essex, CT
Dolan boasts an exceptionally versatile skillset and resume.
Throughout 2021 and 2021, she has qualified for and competed at all major equitation finals. Her participation is highlighted by top-20 finishes in the North American Equitation Championships at the Capital Challenge Horse Show and the Gladstone Equitation Championship in 2022. Dolan also finished 10th at the Dudley B Smith Equitation Championship and earned top placings in equitation classes at WEF and GLEF this year. In 2021, she was the winner of the CHJA 3'3" Masters Medal.
She has been an active member of National Honor Society throughout high school.

Haylee Martin | Western | Sorrento, FL
Martin is as touted as they come on the prep circuit in horsemanship. She captured the AQHYA Bronze Champion L2 14-18 in the event and notched a top-10 finish at the AQYHA L3 Horsemanship. Martin is multi-dimensional, having also been crowned a world champion in AQHYA L2 14-18 Equitation and placing as a finalist in AQHYA L3 Equitation.

She has been extremely successful in the show pen, having won a World Championship Title in Equitation and a Bronze Championship in Horsemanship. Sydney Sargent | Western | Paris, KY
Sargent's championship experience makes her a great addition for TCU's western lineup. The titles under her belt include multiple AQHYA and NSBA World Championships. She was also named the High Point All Around Champion at the AQHYA World Show and All-American Quarter Horse Congress Champion. Outside the show ring, Sargent was the recipient of the AQHYA Racing Experience Scholarship.

She is active in several associations, holding the office of Vice President of NSBA, Executive Committee Member of AQHYA along with being a director & currently serving as president for her state. Peyton Staat | Western | Bakersfield, CA
TCU rounds out its 2023 recruiting class with a consistent podium placer in Staat. Her accolades in the saddle include multiple APHA World Championships as well as a top-five Horsemanship finish at the 2022 World Show. Staat also placed in the top-three in Intermediate Horsemanship.
