Team Notes
*TCU (10-0, 7-0) clinched a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game on Dec. 3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
*TCU is 10-0 for the first time since 2010, when it went 13-0 en route to winning the Rose Bowl.
*TCU is 8-1 when ESPN's College GameDay has been present at its game, including 7-0 when the contest was played on a campus. It was the second time GameDay was on site at a TCU game this season, having also been at the Oct. 8 victory at Kansas.
*TCU's five wins this season over ranked opponents is tied with Tennessee for first nationally.
*Sonny Dykes is the first head coach in TCU football history to win his first 10 games.
*Dykes is the first Big 12 coach in history to begin with a 10-0 record in his first season.
*Since beginning Big 12 play in 2012, TCU is 8-3 against Texas and 5-1 in Austin.
*TCU's defense held Texas to 3 points offensively and 199 yards.
*TCU is in the midst of a stretch of four straight November games in the state of Texas. In addition to tonight's contest, the Horned Frogs opened the month with a home game against Texas Tech and travel to Baylor next week (Nov. 19) before hosting Iowa State (Nov. 26).
*TCU scored for the 377th consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history. No. 1 is Florida at 433 games (1988-present). The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).
*TCU season captains Steve Avila, Dylan Horton, Quentin Johnston and Dee Winters took part in the coin toss.
*TCU wore a black helmet, white jersey and purple pants.
Individual Notes
Offense
*Max Duggan made his 38th career start and was 19-of-29 passing for 124 yards and a touchdown. He now has 25 touchdown passes and just two interceptions on the season.
*Kendre Miller had a team-best 138 yards rushing on 21 carries for his fifth consecutive 100-yard game, the longest streak by a Horned Frog since Lonta Hobbs with five in 2002. Miller has topped 100 yards in seven of the last eight contests and has 11 career 100-yard games.
*Miller's 75-yard touchdown gave him a rushing score in all 10 games this year, the second-longest streak to begin a season in TCU history. TCU Board of Trustees member LaDainian Tomlinson ran for a touchdown in all 12 games in 2000.
*Miller's 11 consecutive games with a rushing touchdown is the longest active streak in the nation and ranks second all-time at TCU, behind only Tomlinson (15, 1999-00).
*Miller has 1,147 yards on the season, the most by a Horned Frog since Aaron Green had 1,272 in 2015.
*Miller has a team-best 13 touchdowns on the season.
*Derius Davis topped the Horned Frogs with four receptions.
*Quentin Johnston had three catches for 66 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown. He has five touchdown catches this season.
*Taye Barber had three receptions to give him 148 in his career, the most by a current Horned Frog.
Defense
*Johnny Hodges had a TCU career-high 11 tackles. He has led the team in tackles four times this season.
*Hodges' only career game with more tackles was 14 stops for Navy last season against Sonny Dykes and SMU.
*Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson had his team-best third interception of the season, all in the last four games. He added three pass breakups.
*Hodges-Tomlinson has taken part in a takeaway in each of the last four contests.
*Dylan Horton tied a season-high with five tackles, including a sack to give him 4.0 on the season which places second on the team.
*Linebacker Shadrach Banks made his first career start and combined on a fourth-down stop for no gain on Texas' opening series. He had four tackles, including one for loss.
Special Teams
*Griffin Kell's 34-yard field goal made him 11-of-12 on the season and 40-of-51 in his career.
*Jordy Sandy placed four punts inside the 20, giving him 12 on the year. He is donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism for every punt inside the 20-yard line and is now at $240 for the season. Three punts were downed inside the 10, making it seven on the season.
