Team Notes
*TCU is 5-0 for the first time since 2017, when current Head Coach Sonny Dykes was on staff as an offensive analyst.
*Dykes is just the second head coach in program history, joining Francis Schmidt in 1929, to win his opening five games.
*Dykes earned his seventh victory over a ranked opponent.
*TCU is the only undefeated FBS program, out of 12, in the state of Texas.
*TCU defeated ranked opponents in consecutive games for the first time since 2017, when it beat No. 6 Oklahoma State and No. 23 West Virginia with Dykes on staff.
*No. 17 TCU played its first game as a top-20 team against a top-20 opponent since Sept. 15, 2018, when the 15th-ranked Horned Frogs dropped a 40-28 decision to No. 4 Ohio State at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
*TCU improved to 6-0 when ESPN's College GameDay has been present for a game played on a campus and 7-1 overall with GameDay on site.
*TCU is 3-0 on the road this season.
*The Horned Frogs played their third consecutive 11 a.m. game.
*Since beginning Big 12 play in 2012, TCU is 10-1 against Kansas.
*TCU scored for the 372 consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history. No. 1 is Florida at 427 games (1988-present). The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).

Offense
*Max Duggan made his 33rd career start. He completed 23-of-33 passes for 308 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 55 yards on nine carries.
*Duggan's 3-yard touchdown run was the 22nd of his career, tying Andy Dalton (2007-10) for ninth in TCU history.
*Quentin Johnston's career-high and team-best 14 receptions were the most by a Horned Frog since Josh Doctson had 18 catches for 267 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-52 win at Texas Tech in 2015.
*Johnston's 206 yards receiving were the most at TCU since Taj Williams had 210 versus Oklahoma in 2016.
*Johnston's 24-yard touchdown catch with 1:36 to play provided the winning score.
*Johnston set a career-high with eight receptions in the first half. His previous best was seven catches at Oklahoma last season.
*Johnston had five receptions for 56 yards in the first quarter, surpassing his season-bests of four catches and 41 yards entering the game.
*Johnson recorded his sixth career 100-yard game.
*Duggan and Johnston connected on consecutive completions of 53 and 29 yards after TCU was at its 1-yard line.
*Kendre Miller rushed for a team-best 88 yards on 18 carries, including a 1-yard scoring run to give him a rushing touchdown in all five games this season. He has a team-best six touchdowns on the season.
*Derius Davis had a 51-yard receiving touchdown, his third of the season and seventh of his career.
*Taye Barber's 25-yard touchdown catch was his second of the season and eighth of his career. He now has 134 career catches, the most by a current Horned Frog.

*Mark Perry totaled a team-best eight tackles, one shy of his season high of nine at SMU.
*Jamoi Hodge had his first career interception to go with seven tackles, including a sack.
*Terrell Cooper forced a fumble at the TCU 1 with Shadrach Banks on the recovery.
*Josh Foster recorded a season-best seven tackles and a pass breakup.
Special Teams
*Griffin Kell's 39-yard field goal made him 2-of-2 on the season and 31-of-41 in his career.
*Jordy Sandy placed one punt inside the 20. He is donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism for every punt inside the 20-yard line and is now at $140 for the season.
*Shadrach Banks had a 37-yard kickoff return on his first career attempt.
