Max Burman Wins the 3-meter
Max Burman took home the gold on 3-meter securing his first Zone cut of the season with a score of 356.03.
The Horned Frogs saw four divers hit Zone cuts on both 1-meter and 3-meter.
David Ekdahl tallied two Zone cuts of his own on 1-meter and 3-meter. On 1-meter, Ekdahl scored a 315.90 for his first cut of the season. He continued his impressive season debut with another Zone cut in the 3-meter (339.00).
In his collegiate debut, Oliver Cazaly also garnered his first Zone cut (331.05). On the women's side, Anna Kwong scored a 292.13 for her first Zone cut.
In the pool, Geremia Freri swam the second-fastest time in school history in the 1000 yard freestyle (9:10.73). Edgar Cicanci broke into the top 10 in program history in the 200 backstroke.
Both 400 medley relay teams broke into the top 10 in program history. The women's team including Moore, Chahbandour, Dahomey and Gould swam a 3:44.10 for the 10th fastest time in TCU history. The men's team (Jones, Willed, Sadlowski and Paiva Da) reached seventh in school history.
Up Next: The Frogs will travel to Provo, Utah for a dual meet against BYU on Oct. 13-14.
