
Baseball Announces 2023 Schedule

TCU will play 32 home games this season
FORT WORTH - TCU baseball head coach Kirk Saarloos announced the 2023 schedule. The 55 game slate features 32 home games, 17 road contests and six neutral site games. The 2023 campaign kicks off Feb. 17 against Vanderbilt at Globe Life Field in the third annual College Baseball Showdown
In addition to facing Vanderbilt, the Horned Frogs will also face Arkansas (Feb. 18) and Missouri (Feb. 19) at Globe Life Field. The College Baseball Showdown is one of two premier tournaments that TCU will participate in during the season. TCU will head to Houston for the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park March 3-5. There, the Frogs will face Rice (March 3), Michigan (March 4) and Louisville (March 5).
Between the two tournament appearances, TCU will host a four game homestand. The home opener is set for Feb. 22 against UT Arlington. Florida State makes a return trip to Fort Worth the weekend of Feb. 24. A quick trip over to Dallas Baptist on Feb. 28 will mark TCU's first true road game of the season.
Following the trip to Houston, TCU will head home for four straight contests. UT Arlington will make its final season appearance at Lupton on March 7. A three-game series against San Diego March 10-12 will close out the homestand.
The first of two meetings against Texas State comes on March 14 in San Marcos. TCU's quest for a third straight Big 12 regular season title begins on the road at 2022 National Runner-Up, Oklahoma March 17-19.
Two midweek games against Abilene Christian (March 21) and Northwestern (March 22) start a five game homestand for the Frogs. TCU's Big 12 home schedule begins on March 24 against Kansas.
The Frogs will set off on a season-long five game road trip starting March 28 at UT Arlington. A three-game series at Texas Tech (March 31-April 2) follows. The road trip ends with a midweek game at Tarleton (April 4).
Two straight home weekends bracket a midweek contest at Abilene Christian (April 11). Oklahoma State will head to Fort Worth April 6-8. A non-conference series against UNC Wilmington follows April 14-16. Lamar on April 18 wraps up a stretch of seven of eight games at home.
After a three-game trip to West Virginia April 21-23, TCU returns home to kick off a 12-game homestand. The final meeting of the season against Dallas Baptist opens the homestand on April 25. Texas will head to Lupton Stadium for three games April 28-30.
A midweek contest against UTRGV follows on May 2. TCU's final bye week in the Big 12 will see it renew a past rivalry as Cal State Fullerton heads to Fort Worth for a three-game series May 5-7.
