Team Notes
*TCU is 4-0 for the first time since 2017, when current Head Coach Sonny Dykes was on staff as an offensive analyst.
*Dykes is the first TCU head football coach to win his opening four games since Francis Schmidt in 1929. Dykes is the 12th head coach since Schmidt.
*TCU is the only undefeated FBS program, out of 12, in the state of Texas.
*TCU beat Oklahoma in Dykes' first game as a head coach against them. The Horned Frogs had dropped eight straight to the Sooners. It's just the second victory in the series for TCU since it began Big 12 play in 2012.
*Dykes earned his sixth victory over a ranked opponent.
*The last time TCU had beat Oklahoma was in 2014, when it was also 3-0, playing its fourth game of the season and coming off a victory over SMU. The 2014 Horned Frogs went on to a 12-1 Big 12 Championship season.
*TCU's 479 yards in the first half were the most by a team nationally in a half against an FBS opponent this season. It was the Horned Frogs' most in a half since at least 2011. The Horned Frogs finished with 668 yards.
*TCU's 55 points were its most scored in 23 games against Oklahoma.
*The attendance of 49,094 was the largest since the rebuilt Amon G. Carter Stadium opened in 2012 and second-best in program history, trailing only the 50,307 for the 2009 Utah game.
*TCU's 27 points were its most in a first quarter since it scored 30 in a 50-7 win over Texas in 2015.
*TCU's 27-point first quarter against Oklahoma was its highest scoring quarter since 28 points in the second in a 62-22 win at Baylor in 2016.
*TCU scored for the 371st consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history. No. 1 is Florida at 427 games (1988-present). The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).
*TCU season captains Steve Avila, Dylan Horton, Quentin Johnston and Dee Winters took part in the coin toss.
*TCU wore a black helmet, black jersey and purple pants.
Individual Notes
Offense
*Quarterback Max Duggan made his 32nd career start at TCU and totaled 418 yards of offense and five touchdowns. He completed 23-of-33 passes for 302 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 116 yards rushing on just five carries with two additional scores. It was his fourth career 100-yard rushing game.
*Duggan's 67-yard touchdown run was the second-longest of his career, trailing only his TCU quarterback record 81-yard scoring rush against Texas Tech in 2020.
*Duggan's two rushing touchdowns give him 21 in his career, tied for 10th in TCU history.
*Savion Williams' 19-yard touchdown marked his second straight game with a scoring grab. For the second consecutive contest, his touchdown catch provided TCU's first points of the game.
*Williams had a career-best three receptions for the second straight game and third time this season.
*Taye Barber recorded his third career 100-yard receiving game with three catches for 107 yards. His 73-yard touchdown catch marked the second-longest reception of his career, behind only his 77-yard catch at Oklahoma State last season.
*Barber now has 133 career receptions, the most among current Horned Frogs.
*Kendre Miller posted his second straight 100-yard rushing game and sixth of his career with 136 yards on 13 carries. He had touchdown runs of 69 and 15 yards. He has a rushing score in all four games this season and a team-best five on the season.
*Derius Davis had a career-high and team-best seven receptions.
*Fifth-year senior Emari Demercado's 1-yard touchdown was his fourth rushing score of the season, equaling his career total entering the year.
*Gunnar Henderson had a career long 62-yard reception for a touchdown.
Defense
*Johnny Hodges had a team-best and TCU career high 10 tackles, including 0.5 for loss. His personal-best is 14 stops while playing for Navy last season against Sonny Dykes and SMU.
*Dee Winters had two sacks as part of his eight tackles while adding his second career fumble recovery.
*Abe Camara recorded the first forced fumble of his career.
*Tymon Mitchell had a sack for the second straight game.
*Mark Perry had 1.5 tackles for loss as part of five stops.
Special Teams
*Griffin Kell's streak of 77 consecutive PATs made came to an end. It was fourth-longest in TCU history.
*Jordy Sandy placed one punt inside the 20. He is donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism for every punt inside the 20-yard line and is now at $120 for the season.
