
Frogs Record Several Wins Against UIW, Rice

TCU back in action tomorrow for another time trial meet against UIW
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The TCU women's swim team had several strong performances against Incarnate Word and Rice.
Kicking off the meet was the 200 medley relay team of Rylee Moore, Claire Chahbandour, Jeanne Dahmen and Olivia Rhodes. The squad won the event with a time of 1:44.33.
Two Frogs picked up individual wins on the day. Moore won the 100 and 200 backstroke with times of 54.78 and 1:59.36, respectively. Along with Moore, Marlene Hirschberg won the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.58 and the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:21.18.
Rhodes earned an individual win as she won the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.22. In the 100 freestyle, Serena Gould clocked a 52.12 to earn first. Lucia Simovicova also earned an individual win as she swam a winning time of 1:54.25 in the 200 freestyle.
In the 200 butterfly, Sally Clough earned an individual win as she swam a first-place time of 2:04.10. In the last individual race of the day, Lisa Johnson swam a 17:08.26 to place first in the 1650 freestyle.
The Frogs also earned a win in the 200 freestyle relay as Simovicova, Rhodes, Gould and Chahbandour swam a time of 1:35.57.
On the boards, Anna Kwong won both the 1-meter and 3-meter with NCAA Zone scores of 268.10 and 285.80, respectively. David Ekdahl also notched wins on both boards and Zone cuts as well with his scores of 328.10 on 3-meter and 313.45 on 1-meter.
