FORT WQRTH -- The TCU football team opens its preseason camp Thursday.

The Horned Frogs will hit the practice field for the first time Friday at 5 p.m. Classes at TCU begin Monday, Aug. 23.
TCU returns 18 starters (eight defensive, 10 offensive) in 2021. The Horned Frogs won five of their last six games to close the 2020 campaign, including the final three for the 10th-longest current win streak in the nation.
Over the last seven seasons, TCU is tied for the second-best record (38-25) in Big 12 play while ranking third among conference members for overall mark (58-30).
TCU is one of just seven programs nationally to finish with an Associated Press Top-10 final ranking in at least three of the last seven seasons.
TCU opens the 2021 campaign on Sept. 4 with a home game against Duquesne. Including Cal (Sept. 11), SMU (Sept. 25) and Texas (Oct. 2), the Horned Frogs will begin a season with four consecutive home games for just the second time (1979) in program history.
