K-State scores seven times in the ninth
The Rundown
With one out in the ninth, five straight Kansas State batter reached base as it erased a four run deficit. Chris Ceballos hit a walk-off three run home run to complete the comeback for the Wildcats.
TCU opened the scoring with four runs in the first. Porter Brown led off the inning with a home run to center. With two runners in scoring position, Hunter Wolfe grounded out to drive in Brayden Taylor for a 2-0 lead. Phillip Sikes hit a two run home run to make it a 4-0 game.
Kansas State battled back in its half of the first to tie the game. Two home runs and a sacrifice fly knotted the contest at four. Charles King got a double play ball to end the inning.
TCU regained the lead in the fourth on a Porter Brown sacrifice fly. Two more runs crossed the plate in the seventh as the lead grew to three, 7-4. Zach Humphreys doubled home Porter Brown and he scored on a Wolfe ground out.
The Frogs final run of the contest came in the ninth on a Taylor RBI-single.
King was outstanding in relief. He tossed eight innings of scoreless baseball. He allowed only five hits and struck out a career high nine batters.

With the loss, the Horned Frogs fall to 36-16 on the season and finish 17-7 in the Big 12. TCU will be the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships in Oklahoma City. Opponent and game time will be determined at the conclusion of Saturday's games.
