Frogs claim six jumping seat and four western
FORT WORTH - The Horned Frogs claimed 10 talented newcomers to join the equestrian program next year after signing National Letters of Intent in the early signing period, TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield announced.
 
"This class brings academic and athletic achievement," Schoolfield said. "We are confident these athletes will make an immediate positive impact on our team through their positive attitudes, hard work and dedication to the sport of Equestrian."
 
The signing class includes six riders on the Jumping Seat side with four set to compete for the Western team. These future Frogs hail from 8 different states from across the country.

KYLIE BAKER – WESTERN – DRIPPING SPRING, TEXAS
Baker comes to Fort Worth by way of Dripping Springs, Texas. She has been competing in NRHA and AQHA events since 2016. Some of her accomplishments include being the STRHA Saddle Series Champion, placing in the Top 5 in the Level 1 Youth Reining at the AQHyA World Championship Show, and, most recently qualifying for the 2021 Run for a Million in both Non-Pro and Rookie. Baker is very excited to continue her Reining career at TCU.

"Kylie Baker is a very talented and accomplished rider. She has been extremely successful with several top awards at the NRHA Futurity and the NRBC. She also ended up Top 5 in the reining at the AQHYA World show. She also is a very driven competitor as well as a leader in the classroom. I am thrilled that Kylie will be joining us next fall!"
 
ANNA CLAUSEN – WESTERN – SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ.
Clausen finds her way to TCU from Scottsdale, Ariz. Some of her recent highlights include The Run for a Million 2021 Non-Pro Co-Champion. She was named the 2021 NRBC Non-Pro Classic Challenge Level 4 Reserve Champion, Level 3 Co-Champion and Level 2 Champion. Clausen was the Intermediate Non-Pro NRHA World Champion in 2020. She could not be more thrilled to join the Western team at TCU.

"Anna Clausen is a very talented and accomplished rider from Scottsdale, Arizona who was the 2021 Non Pro Co-Champion at The Run For A Million. Other accomplishments include the NRBC Non Pro Classic Challenge Level 4 Reserve Champion, Level 3 Co-Champion and Level 2 Champion. She was also the Intermediate Non Pro NRHA World Champion. She has the ability and drive to adapt to any horse and in various competitive environments. We are excited to have her join the TCU Equestrian Team next fall!"
 
TATUM KELLER – WESTERN – EL RENO, OKLA.
Keller joins the Frogs from El Reno, Okla. She has several titles under her belt from her Western career including,Congress Champion Hunt Seat Equitation, Congress Champion Western Riding, Reserve Congress Champion Hunt Seat Equitation, Reserve Congress Champion Showmanship, Reserve World Champion 13 and under Hunt Seat Equitation, Level 1 Champion Horsemanship and Level 1 Champion Western Riding. Keller cannot wait to get to Fort Worth and begin her Horned Frog career next year!

ALEXANDRA LIPACIS – JUMPING SEAT – OAKLAND, CALIF.
Lipacis joins the Frog Fam from Oakland, Calif. and has been nationally recognized within the past year. In 2021 she was 4th place in the CHPA Style of Riding Championship, 7th place in the Gladstone Equitation Cup, West Coast, Top 10 finish at the Maclay Regionals (Region 8), Competed at the ASPCA Maclay Finals, Top 12 finish at the USEF Talent Search Finals, West Coast and finished in the at the CPHA Jr. Finals. We are overjoyed to have her join the team in the Fall!

"We are thrilled to welcome Alexandra to the team. She has gained valuable experience over the past several seasons riding a variety of horses and this past fall, things really came together for her. LANNIE-JO LISAC – WESTERN – PUEBLO, COLO.
Lannie-Jo will be making the trip to Fort Worth from Pueblo, Colo. Lisac has been named Champion in multiple events throughout her career including NRCHA World Champion Youth Bridle and NRCHA World Champion Novice Non-Pro Bridle in 2019. NRCHA World Champion Non-Pro Two Rein, AQHYA Bronze Champion Youth Working Cow Horse and NRCHA Reserve National Champion Non-Pro Two Rein in 2020. Her most recent title came from the 2021 AQHYA World Show where she was named Champion in the Working Cow Horse event. Lisac can't wait to bring her talents to Fort Worth!

She has had a fantastic career including most recently winning the AQHYA World Championship in the Working Cow Horse this year. She is also a 3x NRCHA World Champion in the Working Cowhorse and Non-Pro Bridle. Lannie-Jo is a fierce competitor, and we look forward to welcoming her to TCU!"
 
ANNALISE MANOOG – JUMPING SEAT – CENTERVILLE, MASS.
Manoog travels to Fort Worth from Centerville, Mass. with many titles under her belt. In 2019 she was 7th place at the NCEA East Coast Medal Finals, 5th at the Hamel Foundation Junior Medal Finals and 1st at the Rhode Island Junior Medal Finals. In 2020 she was the Region 1 ASPCA Maclay Champion, 12th place at the USEF Hunt Seat Medal Finals, Champion at the Capital Challenge Horse Show 15-Year-Old Equitation division and 11th place at the North American Equitation Championship. This past year she was Champion at the Capital Challenge Horse Show 16-Year-Old Equitation division, Winner of the New England Equitation Championships, High Point Junior Rider at the New England Equitation Championships and qualified and competed at the USEF Medal, ASPCA Maclay Championships, Washington. We can't wait for her to be on campus in August!

JULIA NICKL – JUMPING SEAT – PALOS VERDES, CALIF.
Nickl will be the second Horned Frog of the signing class to be traveling to Fort Worth from California. Already in her career she has placed 7th at the LAHJA Junior Medal Finals and placed 7th in the Rosewood Medal Finals in 2019. In 2020 she placed 3rd at the NHS Hamel Foundation Final, Top 5 placings in the 14-15 Age Group Division at the National Horse Show, 12th place finish in the USHJA 3'3" Jumping Seat Final and was 7th place finish at the Region 8 ASPCA Maclay Regional. In 2021 she has top placings in the equitation classes at Thermal along with top finishes in the high schildren's jumper division. Qualified and competed at the ASPCA Maclay Regionals, ASPCA Maclay Finals, USEF Medal Finals, Hunterdon Cup, WCE Finals, CPHA Jr. Finals, CPHA Foundation Finals, and the CPHA Style of Riding Finals. She also earned top placings in the 16-year-old age group equitation class at the Penn. National Horse Show. We are looking forward to Nickl wearing representing the Horned Frogs in the Fall!

JORDYN SCELSA – JUMPING SEAT – ISLIP, N.Y.
Scelsa joins the Horned Frogs from New York. In 2021 she was Winner of the Marshal & Sterling Children's Medal Final, Saugerties, NY, 4th place overall at the Junior Hunter Finals, qualified for the NEHC and USHJA Hunt Seat Medal Finals, Champion at the Hampton Classic, Champion at the USHJA Zone 2 Finals, Harrisburg, PA, Best Child Rider at the USHJA Zone 2 Finals, Harrisburg, PA and was the WCHR Northeast Region Hunter Champion. Scelsa is going to make a great addition to the team in August!

She has been a working student over the past several seasons and has a tremendous background in catch riding and bringing along different horses. Not only does she bring a high level of riding to TCU, but she also brings a strong academic foundation. Jordyn has demonstrated her ability to manage a full academic load, a full competition schedule and a full slate of responsibilities back in the barn all while excelling at the highest level. We look forward to her being a great teammate and contributor to the team."
 
KYLA SULLIVAN – JUMPING SEAT – WALLINGFORD, CONN.
Sullivan makes the trip to Fort Worth from Wallingford, Conn. In 2020 she finished 3rd at the USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Finals. This past year she qualified and competed at the ASPCA Macaly Finals, USEF Medal Finals and Washington International Horse Show Equitation Finals. She finished 5th in the Gladstone Cup, 5th in the New England Equitation Championships and 8th in the Zone 1 ASPCA Maclay Regionals. Sullivan is going to add so much to the team in the Fall!

VICTORIA ZAHORIK – JUMPING SEAT – BARTONVILLE, TEXAS
Zahorik will be adding to the Horned Frog family from Bartonville, Texas. In 2020 she qualified for the NCEA Hunter Seat Medal Finals, USHJA 3'3" Jumping Seat Medal Final, USHJA 3'3" Hunter Seat Medal Finals, ASPCA Maclay Regionals and the Hamel Foundation NHS Equitation Championship. She 8th place finish at the Region 6 ASPCA Maclay Regional, finished in the top 30 at the Hamel Foundation Finals, finished first in the National Horse Show 3'3" Equitation Class in Texas and finished 7th in the 15-17 Equitation Division for Zone 7. In 2021 she Qualified and competed at the ASPCA Maclay Finals and the USHJA 3'3" Jumping Seat Medal Finals. Also qualified for the USEF Medal Finals, the USHJA 3'3" Hunter Seat Medal Final, NCEA Junior Hunter Seat Medal Final and she was the Grand Champion 3'6" Equitation circuit award winner for the Pin Oak Charity Horse Shows. Zahorik is going to be an amazing addition to TCU!
