
Baseball Announces 2022 Schedule

TCU will play 27 home games
FORT WORTH – TCU baseball head coach Kirk Saarloos announced the 2022 schedule. The 55 game slate features 27 home games, 22 road contests and six neutral site games. The season will kick off Feb.18 at the MLB4 Tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz. against San Diego State.
TCU opens the season with 10 of its first 13 games away from home. The Horned Frogs will play six of eight February contests at a neutral site. The season-opening MLB4 Tournament in Arizona will see the Frogs take on San Diego State (Feb. 18), Cal (Feb. 19) and Houston (Feb. 20). A pair of midweek tilts kick off the home schedule starting Feb. 22 against Stephen F. Austin. UTSA will make its way to Lupton Stadium on Feb. 23. February concludes with a three-game series against Nebraska at Globe Life Field beginning Feb. 25.
After a Tuesday, March 1 home contest against UT Arlington, TCU will hit the road for four games in Kentucky. A three-game series against the Wildcats begins March 4. The road trip wraps up with a midweek tilt at Louisville on March 8.
TCU's first weekend home series starts March 11 with a three-game series against Army. A Tuesday, March 15 contest against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi wraps up a four game homestand.
The Frogs' Big 12 title defense begins March 18 with a three-game series at Baylor. A Tuesday, March 22 game at Abilene Christian follows.
A season-long seven game homestand starts March 25 with a three-game series against Kansas State. Abilene Christian will head to Fort Worth March 29 to conclude the annual home-and-home series. The homestand concludes with a series against West Virginia starting April 1.
The Frogs will hit road for five straight beginning April 5 with the second of three meetings against UT Arlington. TCU will head to Texas for three games starting April 8. The road trip concludes with midweek tilt at Dallas Baptist (April 12).
Texas Tech heads to Lupton Stadium April 14 to kick off a three-game series. The final game in the UT Arlington midweek series concludes the homestand on April 19.
TCU will play six of the following seven games away from home starting with three games at Oklahoma State April 22-24. A brief stop at home for a Tuesday night contest against Dallas Baptist (April 26) is followed by a trip to Florida State for three games April 29-May 1.
The Frogs will play eight of the final 11 games of the regular season at home. Oklahoma heads to Lupton Stadium for three games May 6-8. Incarnate Words makes a visit on May 10. The lone road games in the stretch come May 13-15 when TCU concludes Big 12 play with a three-game series at Kansas. A four game homestand featuring a May 17 contest against Tarleton State and a three-game series against Santa Clara (May 19-21) concludes the regular season.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships have a new home in 2022 as the tournament shifts to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The tournament is slated to run May 25-29.

Baseball season ticket and parking renewals will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 23. Fans should receive an email with an invoice to renew their pre-pandemic tickets and parking. Season ticket holders that renew their tickets by the Jan. 7 renewal deadline will receive an equal number of complimentary tickets to the Nebraska series at Globe Life Field.
