HOCKLEY, Texas – Sixth-seeded TCU opened up Big 12 Match Play with a 4-2-0 loss to third-seeded Texas Monday at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.
The Horned Frogs' two wins came from Gustav Frimodt, who defeated Parker Coody 2UP, and Thomas Allkins, who defeated Will Thomson 2UP.
TCU next play two matches on Tuesday. The Frogs will first play No. 2 Oklahoma State at 8 a.m., followed by No. 7 Baylor at 1:30 p.m.
