
Baseball Tabbed 2nd In Big 12 Preseason Poll

Horned Frogs earned one first-place vote
FORT WORTH – TCU baseball was picked to finish second in the Big 12 Preseason poll in a vote of league coaches. The Horned Frogs earned one first place vote and had 52 points.
TCU is ranked in three preseason polls, sitting as high as No. 10 in the D1Baseball.com poll. The Frogs are also ranked No. 13 in the Baseball America poll and No. 19 in the Collegiate Baseball poll.
Texas Tech was picked to win the league with 63 points and seven first place votes. Texas also received a first place vote and sits third with 46 points. Oklahoma State (46 points) was picked fourth, followed by Oklahoma (31), West Virginia (29), Kansas State (28), Baylor (25) and Kansas (8).
The Horned Frogs kick off the 2021 season on Feb. 19 against Ole Miss in the State Farm College Baseball Showdown at Globe Life Field.
