TCU defensive end topped all freshmen in tackles for loss
FORT WORTH -- TCU defensive end Khari Coleman has been named to ESPN's 2020 True Freshman All-America Team.
The Co-Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year, Coleman topped all freshmen nationally and was seventh overall in the FBS with 15.0 tackles for loss. He had 3.0 sacks among his 33 tackles which ranked eighth on TCU.
A New Orleans, La., native, Coleman had at least one tackle for loss in eight of his nine games this season, including multiple TFLs in six of the last seven contests. He had a career-high eight stops, including 3.5 for loss with his first career sack, against Oklahoma.
