TCU set to open its 2020-21 season
FORT WORTH -- The TCU women's golf team opens its season Sunday at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla.
The Format
Thirty-six holes will be played Sunday and 18 Monday. The format will include all teams playing in groups of five with their respective teammates. TCU's tee times begin at 9:45 a.m. Sunday.
The Course
The Schooner Fall Classic will be held at the par 70, 6,094-yard Belmar Golf Club.
The Field
In addition to TCU and host Oklahoma, the event includes Arkansas State, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas Tech.

The Lineup
TCU's lineup will feature Greta Bruner, Valeria Pacheco, Sabrina Iqbal, Jennie Park and Lois Lau.
Bruner is TCU's career leader in eagles with 10. She had a 74.3 stroke average last season and was an All-Big 12 selection in 2018-19 with a 73.5 mark. The senior from Conroe, Texas, has 19 top-20 finishes, including 11 in the top 10, in 35 career tournaments.
Pacheco played in eight of nine events last season. She tied a TCU single-round record with an 8-under-par 64 at the Jim West Challenge.
Iqbal set a TCU season record in 2019-20 with a 72.0 stroke average. The junior from San Jose, Calif., had six top-10 finishes in nine tournaments. She broke TCU's record for 54-hole score with a 7-under 209 in tying for fourth at last year's season-opening Golfweek Conference Challenge, before tying her own record when she closed the season with another 7-under 209 as the runner-up at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. She has finished in the top 20 in 16 of 20 events as a Horned Frog.
Park was second on last year's team with a 73.1 stroke average. The sophomore from Carrollton, Texas, posted a top-20 finish in four of nine tournaments last season.
Lau will be making her TCU debut. The freshman is from Noisy-sur-Ecole, France.
