
Green Earns All-America Accolades

Senior led team with eight appearances
FORT WORTH – TCU senior left-handed pitcher Haylen Green was tabbed a second-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball. This marks the seventh straight season the Horned Frogs have boasted an All-America honoree.
Green led the team with eight appearances in the 15 games played prior to the season being cancelled. He had the third-longest shutout streak in the nation to open the season with 17 2/3 scoreless innings pitched. Green ranked third on the team with 19 strikeouts, limited opponents to a .121 batting average against. He recorded multiple strikeouts in five of eight appearances and stranded all 10 inherited runners, including multiple base runners on four occasions.
Since his arrival at TCU in 2003, head coach Jim Schlossnagle has had 20 players earn a combined 23 All-America honors.
