
Thirteen Horned Frogs Earn Academic Honors

Twelve place on the first team
FORT WORTH – Twelve members of the Big 12 champion TCU women's soccer team were honored as first-team Academic All-Big 12 performers, while one other was named second-team members.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
Earning first team accolades from the league were Emily Alvarado (Supply Chain Management Graduate Certificate), Gracie Brian (Business), Messiah Bright (Strategic Communication), Grace Collins (Accounting and Finance), Payton Crews (Sociology), Tijana Duricek (Social Work), Chaylyn Hubbard (Management), Nicolette Lewis (Communication Studies), Haley Mallion (Mechanical Engineering), Brandi Peterson (Movement Science), Michelle Slater (Math-Actuarial Science) and Maddy Warren (Pre-Major).
Named to the second team was Lexie Wallace (Fashion Merchandising).
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
