16 Football Student-Athletes Named Academic All-Big 12

Seven earned first-team distinction
IRVING, Texas -- Sixteen TCU football student-athletes, including starting quarterback Max Duggan and two-time first-team All-Big 12 linebacker Garret Wallow, have been named to the Academic All-Big 12 Football Team.
Taye Barber, TCU's leading receiver with 31 receptions and an honorable-mention All-Big 12 selection, is second-team Academic All-Big 12. Fellow TCU receiver Mitchell Hansen, a 2015 second-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers, earned first-team honors with a 4.0 grade-point average.
TCU offensive linemen Kellton Hollins and T.J. Storment made the Academic All-Big 12 Football Team as graduate students.
