Do and Park record top-20 results
AUSTIN, Texas -- The TCU women's golf team closed play Sunday with a fifth-place finish at the Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin.
Grace Do, the lone senior in the lineup, was the top Horned Frog with a tie for 14th, her sixth career top-20 result. Do had a pair of birdies in a final round 75.
Jennie Park totaled five birdies en route to a 74 and a tie for 19th. It was the second straight top-20 result and sixth in 11 career tournaments for the sophomore from Carrollton, Texas.
Freshman Sabrina Nguyen, making her TCU debut, carded her second consecutive 73 in tying for 30th at 225. The Escondido, Calif., native recorded three birdies and shot par on 11 holes. Sabrina Iqbal had two birdies with a final round 76.
Lois Lau, the second freshman in the TCU lineup, posted a 72 for her second par score in her last four rounds. The Noisy-sur-Ecole, France, native totaled a team-best six birdies on the day.
TCU returns to action Oct. 22 when it begins play at the Cowgirl Classic in Stillwater, Okla.
