
Baseball Opens Fall Workouts Tuesday

Team welcomed Top-5 recruiting class
FORT WORTH - The TCU baseball team is slated to open fall practice on Tuesday afternoon. The team will participate in 28 practices over the next six weeks.
TCU welcomes back 13 letterwinners from last year's NCAA Regional squad. Additionally, the coaching staff brought in a top-5 recruiting class. The group was tabbed No. 4 by Baseball America and No. 5 by Collegiate Baseball.
Highlighting the fall schedule is an Oct. 1 date against the Texas Rangers Futures Camp squad. The contest is slated to begin at 6 p.m. at Globe Life Park. Parking and admission to the contest are free.
The Horned Frogs are also scheduled to play Texas State at 1 p.m. on Oct. 27 at Lupton Stadium.
Practices will run Tuesday through Sunday. Players will stretch starting at 2:30 p.m. on weekdays with weekend times to be announced. Practices are open to the public.
