Frogs begin Monday at 7 a.m.
FORT WORTH – TCU's men's golf team will play in its second tournament of the season when it tees off at the Hartford Hawks Invitational Monday in South Kent, Conn.
The Horned Frogs will play 36 holes on Monday starting at 7 a.m. at Bull's Bridge Golf Club and finish with 18 on Tuesday beginning at 7 a.m. They will go with the lineup of Thomas Allkins, Chris Berzina, Mateo Fernández de Oliveira, Gustav Frimodt and Justin Gums. Alejandro Aguilera, Trevor Brown, Caden Christopherson and Aymeric Laussot will compete as individuals.
TCU is coming off a fifth-place finish at the challenging Carmel Cup, held at Pebble Beach Golf Links. The Frogs defeated No. 4 Oklahoma State and No. 5 Vanderbilt.

THE COURSE – Par 72 | 6,992 yards
The scenic Bull's Bridge Golf Club opened in 2004 and was designed by Tom Fazio. The course is currently ranked on the Best in State list compiled by Golf Digest magazine.

• Competed at Texas Tech the past two seasons.
• Finished tied for 29th at the Carmel Cup with a score of 3-over 219.
Chris Berzina (Freshman | Fort Worth)
• Making his collegiate debut.
• Placed 15th at the Texas Junior Amateur in the summer of 2018.
• Attended Trinity Valley High School in Fort Worth.
Justin Gums (Sophomore | Lodi, Calif.)
• Was co-leader for TCU at the Carmel Cup with a score of 2-under 214, tied for 17th place.
• Shot a season-best 4-under 212 at the Amer Ari Invitational in Hawaii last season.
Mateo Fernández de Oliveira (Freshman | Buenos Aires, Argentina)
• Was co-leader for TCU at the Carmel Cup with a score of 2-under 214, tied for 17th place.
• Was at one time ranked as the top golfer in Argentina.
• Finished ninth at the Toyota Junior World Championship in 2018.
Gustav Frimodt (Freshman | Glamsbjerg, Denmark)
• Finished tied for 45th at the Carmel Cup.
• Represented Denmark at the 23018 European Team Championship.
• Finished third at the Toyota Junior World Championship in 2017.
