
Baseball Announces Oct. 1 Date At Globe Life Park

FORT WORTH – TCU baseball head coach Jim Schlossnagle announced that the team will head to Arlington, Texas and Globe Life Park for a contest against the Texas Rangers Futures Camp squad. The contest is slated to begin at 6 p.m. on Oct. 1.
The Rangers announced that for the first time a Futures Camp comprised about 40 players will take place at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco from Sunday, September 22-Sunday, October 6. That team will hold workouts in Frisco and will play a series of games against four-year universities and junior colleges located in the Southwest.
"The game against the Rangers top prospects will be very challenging," said Schlossnagle. "It's always a great life experience to play in a major league ballpark. We are very thankful to the Texas Rangers organization and Director of Player Development Matt Blood for including us."
Admission and parking to the contest is free of charge. Concessions will be available.
