Baseball Announces Fall Dates

Fall practice begins Sept. 20
FORT WORTH – Preparations for the 2020 TCU baseball campaign will kick off in earnest on Sept. 20 and run through Nov. 3. Fall camp will feature 28 practices over a 45-day period.
Over the course of the fall, TCU will participate in a pair of contests in addition to holding numerous intrasquad games.
"The fall games that were implemented last year by the NCAA are so critical in evaluating our players vs. outside competition, especially our new players," said head coach Jim Schlossnagle.
TCU will take on Texas State on Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. That game will be open to the public and free of charge.
"The Texas State game will be a part of what should be a great weekend of college football (TCU vs. Texas) and college baseball," said Schlossnagle. "I'm super excited to welcome one of our former players, Steven Trout, back to campus as the head coach of the Texas State program. This will be a great weekend for all TCU sports fans."
The Horned Frogs are coming off an appearance in the NCAA Regionals, marking the program's 14thtrip to the postseason in the last 16 years.
