Guenther and Rizer each tally a pair of hits
FORT WORTH  – The TCU offense was held in check for most of the day as Baylor took the series finale by a 12-1 score in eight innings at Lupton Stadium on Sunday. Jake Guenther and Johnny Rizer each tallied two hits in the game.

The Rundown
Baylor picked up a trio of runs in the third to open up the scoring in the game. The first three Bears in the inning reach and all came around to score.

An error in the fourth proved costly as Baylor tacked on a trio of two-out runs to open up a 6-0 advantage.Â

TCU picked up its first run of the contest in the sixth. Austin Henry led off the inning with a base hit. An overturned call at second gave the Frogs life as they had two on with one out. After a base hit from Andrew Keefer loaded the bases and an error by the shortstop allowed Henry to score.

Baylor answered TCU's fourth inning tally with three in the fifth to extend the lead to eight, 9-1. Another run came around in the seventh and two more in the eighth.

The Frogs had their chances in a couple innings with a runner at third base, but each time Baylor wiggled off the hook.Â
