Horned Frogs tied for 4th in team standings
BATON ROUGE, La. -- Sabrina Iqbal is second individually, one shot off the lead, while the No. 18 TCU women's golf team is tied for fourth after Saturday's second round of the LSU Tiger Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La.
Iqbal is at even-par 144 through 36 holes, one stroke behind leader Ana Gonzalez of UTSA. Iqbal had a 75 Saturday with three birdies, including two in her opening seven holes.
A freshman from San Jose, Calif., Iqbal is looking for her second individual championship this season. She was a co-medalist at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational.
TCU's Greta Bruner had two birdies, including her final hole, while Annika Clark recorded par on 13 holes. Grace Do and Valeria Pacheco each had a birdie for the Horned Frogs.
Sunday's final round will have an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with live scoring available at Golfstat.com.
