Ravetto Leads after First Round

TCU is one stroke out of the lead
PALM DESERT, Calif. – After 18 holes at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, senior David Ravetto is tied for first place.
The senior shot a season-best 4-under 68 on Friday at the Classic Club, including 3-under 33 on the front nine. He shot an eagle on the par 5 No. 4 hole, one of just seven eagles for the 120-person field. Ravetto is tied with Boise State's Skyler Eubank for the leader.
Like Ravetto, Hayden Springer had four birdies and shot even-par 72. He'll begin Saturday's second round at 9 a.m. CT tied for seventh place.
Pierre Mazier finished strong by shooting 3-under 33 with four birdies on the back nine to finish 3-over 75 for the round. He is tied for 34th place.
As a team, TCU shot 3-over 291 and is in third place. Colorado State and Texas Tech are tied for the lead at 2-over 290.
