
3 Horned Frogs Named Phil Steele All-Americans

Gladney, Reagor and Wallow receive accolades
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Three TCU football players were named to the Phil Steele All-America Team.
Cornerback Jeff Gladney and Jalen Reagor as a punt returner were tabbed to the second team, while linebacker Garret Wallow was an honorable-mention recipient.
Gladney, also a second-team FWAA All-American, led the Horned Frogs with 14 pass breakups this season. His 15 passes defended are tied with teammate Trevon Moehrig for second in the Big 12. Gladney has been invited to the 2020 Reese's Senior Bowl.
Reagor is one of two players in the FBS with two punt returns for touchdowns. He reached the end zone with returns of 73 yards against Kansas and 70 versus West Virginia. He ranks second nationally with a 20.8 punt return average, breaking the previous TCU season record of 20.4 by Linzy Cole in 1969. Reagor is also TCU's career leader in punt return average at 17.8 yards, bettering the previous mark of 16.0 by Blanard Spearman from 1930-32.
Reagor also led TCU this season with 43 receptions and 611 yards while tying for the team lead with five touchdown catches. The Waxahachie, Texas, native has been named to three All-America teams. He was a second-team FWAA All-American at punt returner and a second-team Sports Illustrated All-American in an all-purpose role.
Wallow's 125 tackles, which include 18 for a loss with 3.5 sacks, lead the Big 12 and tie for seventh nationally. The 125 stops rank fourth in a season under head coach Gary Patterson. Wallow was also first-team All-Big 12 and honorable-mention Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
