Sports Illustrated tabs Reagor to its second team
NEW YORK -- TCU's Jalen Reagor has been named by Sports Illustrated as a second-team All-American in an all-purpose role.
Reagor is one of just two players in the FBS with two punt returns for touchdowns. He reached the end zone with returns of 73 yards against Kansas and 70 versus West Virginia. He ranks second nationally with a 20.8 punt return average, breaking the previous TCU record of 20.4 by Linzy Cole in 1969. Reagor is also TCU's career leader in punt return average at 17.8 yards, bettering the previous mark of 16.0 by Blanard Spearman from 1930-32.
Reagor led TCU this season with 43 receptions and 611 yards while tying for the team lead with five touchdown catches.
