TCU Accepts Invitation to NIVC Tournament

TCU Volleyball has made the postseason for the fourth time in the Jill Kramer era
FORT WORTH -- TCU volleyball has accepted an invitation to participate in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC). TCU will play Miami (OH) on Thursday, Dec. 5. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m. (CT), in Bowling Green, Ohio.
TCU's second round opponent will be the winner of the Bowling Green vs. Purdue-Fort Wayne match, played directly following the Horned Frogs opening round match, on Thursday.
"We are excited for the opportunity to continue to compete in the sport that we love, with teammates we love and to represent the purple and white," head coach Jill Kramer said. "There's nothing better. We've been playing our best volleyball down the stretch and are looking forward to carrying that into the tournament."
This is the fourth postseason appearance in the last five seasons for TCU and the second NIVC invitation in the Jill Kramer era. TCU last played in the NIVC in 2017, when the Horned Frogs reached the semifinals.
The first round will kick off Thursday, Dec. 5, with the event culminating on Tuesday, Dec. 17 with the championship. Each round is held on the campus of a hosting school.
