STILLWATER, Okla. – The TCU Horned Frogs erased one 14-point deficit, but could not overcome the second one, falling 34-27 to the Oklahoma State Cowboys Saturday afternoon at Boone Pickens Stadium.

TCU quarterback Max Duggan led the Horned Frogs to a pair of 80-plus touchdown drives in the second quarter to overcome a 17-3 deficit and both teams went into halftime tied 17-17. OSU's Chuba Hubbard scored both of his touchdowns in the second half and despite a TD run from Sewo Olonilua midway through the fourth quarter, it proved to be more than enough for the home team.

Duggan led TD drives of 81 yards and 95 yards in the second quarter, calling his own number from 6 yards out and then a possession later finding Pro Wells for a 24-yard strike. Duggan completed four of his five passes on TCU's final drive of the first half, which included Jalen Reagor moving the chains with a 37-yard catch on third down.

Following Hubbard's second touchdown to put the Cowboys up 31-17, Olonilua capped off a nine-play 75-yard drive with a 1-yard score. Reagor had another 30-yard reception on the drive and he would go onto lead all receivers with 128 yards on seven catches in the contest.

OSU added a field goal to go up 34-24 with 2:04 left and TCU countered with Jonathan Song's second 40-yard field goal of the game to pull within seven, down 34-27. The Horned Frogs' onside kick attempt was unsuccessful and OSU would run out the remainder of the clock to seal the win.

Reagor set a new season-high with his 128 yards receiving. Reagor and Taye Barber tied for the team lead with seven catches each.

Duggan set a new career-high with 21 completions and he led the Horned Frogs in rushing for a third straight game, becoming the first TCU quarterback to lead the team in rushing three consecutive games since Trevone Boykin in 2015.

TCU returns home next Saturday, Nov. 9, to host No. 12-ranked Baylor. The kickoff time will be announced at a later time this weekend.
