Lau and Nguyen are the newest Horned Frogs
FORT WORTH -- TCU Head Women's Golf Coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin has announced the signing of Lois Lau and Sabrina Nguyen to National Letters of Intent.
Lau is from Noisy-sur-Ecole, France, while Nguyen is a native of Escondido, Calif.
"I am so proud to sign Lois and Sabrina," Ravaioli-Larkin said. "Lois is a world-class player who will make an immediate impact. She is a driven and dynamic student-athlete who has already competed and won at such a high level.
"Sabrina is such a strong competitor who will strengthen our team with her ability to score low. I am honored to earn their commitment and look forward to coaching them to great heights. They are both such wonderful people with supportive and loving parents. They will fit into our culture of class, character and gratitude.
"We are excited to have them in our FrogFam!"
Lau won the 2018 Swiss Ladies International, shooting a career-best 6 under par in the final round, and the Grand Prix Saint Germain Championship. She has nine sub-70 rounds and was selected for the 2019 European Girls Team Championship. She also received one of three invitations for the 2019 Final LET Access Road to La Largue, where she shot a final round 5 under for the third-best score of the tournament.
Nguyen finished first in the Toyota Tour Cup at Rancho California Golf Course and second at the FCG Memorial Championship. She was also third at the Toyota Tour Cup Invitational at Bear Creek Golf Club. Additionally, she qualified for the 2019 USGA Women's Amateur Four Ball Championship.
